Greetins from Ecuador.
It is my first msj here
My questions are:
1.- Which is the range between two analisys from the same sample?
Sometimes I have a high diferences between two samples the same material (pulverized) that I work is a SKARN (oxides) with gold free sometimes we have gold grains size of 2mm.
2.- How i could Know if I am doing well the fire assay?
I have a patron sample with value is 11.33 , When I doing the fire assay of this samples I have result 11.55, 11,66 ,11,00 (g/t) . Is good result?
3.-In many times the slang appers drop of lead why produce it?

We usually use the following limits for duplicates:
From 0.0 to 0.7 g/ton Au= 20%
From 0.7 to 1.0 g/ton Au= 10%
From 1.0 to 1.5 g/ton Au= 5%
Greater than 1.5 g/Ton Au= 3%
It will mean that if the Standar Value of a sample, for example the SP-37 from rocklabs is 18.14 ppm, the value analyzed sould not be greater than 18.684 ppm or lesser than 17.595 ppm.
Of curse this is our QC, every lab has it's own QC controls.
